Welcome to eMalahleni Crematorium 

eMalahleni Crematorium is a privately owned independent company that was established and started operating on 1 July 2016.  It currently has two branches, one in the Mpumalanga province and one in the Limpopo province of South Africa.

The Witbank Branch is situated in eMalahleni (formerly known as Witbank), and the Waterberg Branch is situated in Modimolle (formerly known as Nylstroom).  These two crematoriums are there to serve all undertakers in the central and northern parts of South Africa.  We are strategically situated to guarantee a crematorium near you.

Our mission statement still holds true, to:

• Provide a cost effective, timely cremation service to the industry through safe, quality work whilst:
• Ensuring every cremation is done with Compassion, Dignity and Respect;
• Ensuring sustainable development; and
• Complying with all applicable governance.

We believe this makes us better than our competition:

• In line with our mission, we aim to return cremated remains to families within 24 hours (locally) and within three days, elsewhere; where it is not practical, suitable arrangements are made with undertakers;
• We have an agreement with the Crematorium Transport Company (CTC) whose sole purpose it is to collect bodies and deliver ashes to the undertakers, together we believe that we offer a unique service to our clients;
• We have cremators that use diesel and some that use gas, and the one will be a backup for the other, should one commodity be in short supply; and
• Our processes and procedures are developed to ensure compliance with applicable laws and to ensure that we are able to provide a prompt service.
